Wednesday, May 16

Please join us on Wednesday, May 16th at the Ontario Club for two excellent presentations on the topic of Knowledge Management.

Leading Clarica into the World of Corporate Knowledge Management

Our first presenter will be Mary Lynn Benninger, Knowledge Architect for Clarica (formerly the Mutual Group Insurance). Mary Lynn will present a summary of her company's journey into the world of corporate knowledge management and will cover both the codified (explicit) and community (tacit) aspects of knowledge management.

Reverse Engineering Legacy System Knowledge

Our second presenter will be Ken Solanki, currently in a role as a senior data modeller at Rogers AT&T. Ken will tackle the thorny issue Legacy System Knowledge and will present a method by which Legacy System Knowledge can be reverse-engineered through the development of three key views: the Conceptual View, the External (Application) View, and the Internal View.
