This talk will present the results of a research project focused on measuring the maturity of data management practices. The talk will describe the data management survey itself and the practical uses of findings. The findings will assist the listener in understanding:
Peter Aiken, Ph.D. lectures for the Department of Information Systems, at the School of Business, Virginia Commonwealth University. He was a Director of the Hypermedia Technologies Lab at George Mason University between 1989-1993. Peter managed the Reverse Engineering Program within the Office of the Chief Information Officer at the Department of Defense (1992 -1997). He is a visiting scientist to the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University and a Research Director at the Institute for Data Research. Peter has been a DAMA International Advisor since 1999 and was the 2001 winner of a DAMA International Individual Achievement Award.
