Brian Gallant is a Senior Consultant and the Director of Marketing for the Institute for Software Process Improvement, Inc. (ISPI). ISPI is an international corporation with the mission to lead and assist organisations in improving their software groups capabilities. ISPI is a transition partner with Carnegie Mellon University's Software Engineering Institute (SEI). ISPI has two competitively awarded, Co-operative Research and Development Agreements (CRADAs) with the SEI. Both CRADAs are for providing worldwide instruction. The first is for the "Introduction to the Capability Maturity Model (CMM)" and the second is for "Software Capability Evaluations (SCE)". ISPI also has five Lead Assessors and two ISO auditors on its staff.
Mr. Gallant has more than 25 years experience in the software development and maintenance business. He is certified by the SEI to train personnel in the CMM and the conducting of SCEs. He is a facilitator and trainer of all aspects of software process assessment and improvement.
