SIG
Meeting Tuesday, May 14 This will be the last meeting of the season. The topic is not on "Migration and Cleansing Tools" as previously advertised. We felt that "Return on Investment" would be perfect for wrapping up for a very successful SIG series.
Stephen is Vice President of Software Market Research at IDC Canada. He is responsible for IDC's analysis of the domestic software market and special research topics such as data warehousing. He is often quoted in trade magazines and business publications, has appeared on TV news and has been featured as a guest speaker at conferences and seminars across North America.
Stephen will share the results of IDC's "Financial Impact
of Data Warehousing" study. This global research project
examines the experience of organizations around the world discovering
how data warehouses have had an impact on how they run their businesses,
and the management tactics which helped them succeed. Stephen
will provide some insights into how companies can be sure that
they are indeed getting a payback on data warehouse investments.
