This presentation looks at how the rapid developments in the BI/Datawarehousing arena meet the Internet in Enterprise Information Portals. Will EIPs spell the end to one of the most persistent, dare we say vampirish, problems at the heart of IT - that we are creating 'Isolated Islands of Information' that can't be accessed in a timely and convenient manner?
We will take a look at how and why EIPs will help to address these problems. And at some added integrating benefits. We then look at some of the key players plus the trade-offs associated with the new technology.
