IRMAC is sponsoring an exam session on Saturday July 24th at the North York Central library branch at 2:00 PM. Sign up for the session.
The CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional) certification is the only non-proprietary DAMA backed certification in the world. With the increasing popularity and acceptance of the DMBOK, CDMP is now more recognized among industry professionals than ever before. Since September, IRMAC (with ICCP and DAMA) has fully certified 7 data management professionals, including Neil Hepburn (Director of Education, IRMAC). All exams will be held at the North York Central Library (easily accessible by TTC subway or car). Furthermore, for a limited time, DAMA is offering the possibility of taking beta exams (not all exams apply), which allows you to avoid paying if you fail the exam, and a 33% savings if you pass the exam. Please contact Neil Hepburn, Education Director.
IRMAC is forming a new Special Interest Group to provide a forum for discussion and consensus on realistic and effective approaches for establishing information management as a critical enterprise program. Rather than an “expert presenter – learner audience” format, the format will be a round table discussing various EIM topics. Each topic to be introduced and facilitated by a discussion leader. The initial meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 9th from 4-6 pm.
