The purpose of a SIG, as its name suggests, is to focus on a topic that is narrower than the interests of the main body to which the SIG is attached. Interest in Data Warehousing has become so intense that frequent meetings are appropriate - hence the SIG.
A survey of IRMAC members was conducted in October 1995 that gathered input on the relative priorities of the many issues surrounding data warehouse. There was strong interest in forming a Special Interest Group devoted to the subject.
The group meets once a month (usually on the 3rd Wednesday) in the early evenings:
Wednesday, December 6
Monday, January 22
Wednesday, February 21
Wednesday, March 20
Wednesday, April 17
Tuesday, May 14
