Psychology and Information Management

Are you frustrated by developers and users who don’t understand the importance of information management? Are you struggling to get approval for your data management initiative? This presentation will show you how an understanding of human psychology can help you be a better, happier, and more effective data architect.

Our presenter will be Dan Haggarty, an independent consultant who helps organisations with information quality and data design issues. His earliest experiences with information technology were as a computer programmer in the days of punched cards and fanfold printer paper but he now suppresses his interest in the minutia of technology in favour of broader questions of data management and the use of technology to improve the effectiveness of business processes.
