Speaker
I’ve been working in the Business Intelligence / Data Warehouse industry since 1995 and I’ve covered all of the roles: user, developer, tester, requirements analyst, systems analyst, project manager, architect, and manager. Since incorporating Digi Consulting Inc in 2004, I’ve been working as an independent consultant. Up to a few years ago, all of my projects used the classic waterfall approach.
My eyes were opened after taking a TDWI Agile BI course in 2012. Since that 4 day course, I truly believe that Agile is the best way to deliver maximum value for BI/DW/Analytics projects. It is the way to answer YES to the following questions:
1. Are you delivering innovative business intelligence solutions to end users?
2. Are you excited about going to work everyday?
I’m determined to spend the rest of my career steering clear of failing BI/DW projects and answering YES to these two questions.
