Application Portfolio Management: Concept and Evolution

The presentation will explain the concept, industry position and expected evolution of Application Portfolio Management. APM contributes to Integrated IT Management and is one of the fastest growing sectors of Information Technology.

IT environments are becoming increasingly more complex and information about what makes up an IT portfolio is not readily available. Chaos is more of the norm, resulting in increasing IT costs and higher risks. Application Portfolio Management promises to create a roadmap of applications, their interfaces and relationships. The presentation will describe current industry status and provide tips for implementing an APM solution.

The presentation will include a demonstration of IB-ARM, Information Balance’s leading APM product.
