Best Practices in Fraud Detection
This presentation will cover the typical approaches to fraud detection (used in banking, insurance and other sectors) and their inherent weaknesses. It will discuss how a comprehensive approach to fraud detection, encompassing approaches such as rules, predictive modelling, visual link analysis, artificial intelligence, voice spectrum analysis, etc., can be used to greatly reduce fraud detection while reducing false positives.
The presentation will also describe a best practices Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing architecture to support advanced fraud detection.

Gary Saarenvirta is considered one of the world’s experts in advanced analytics and the emerging field of real-time business intelligence. Gary is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of MakePlain Corporation.
