Customer 360: Integrating Disparate Data for the Big Picture

Geodemographic techniques have been used for years for targeting applications. In today’s data-rich world, this data’s utility has increased because it allows disparate databases to be “knit” together to provide a more complete view of customers: transactional, customer satisfaction, demographic, lifestyle, and now mobile movement data. Machine learning techniques, new data sources and sophisticated reporting tools have also increased the variety of data points available and the speed with which users can synthesize the insight from the data. Rupen Seoni will explain the basics about geodemographic data and show how it has been applied in some real-life examples.


Senior Vice President and Practice Leader at Environics Analytics, Rupen Seoni leads a practice area that includes government, non-profits, energy and consumer goods. He brings over twenty years of experience in market analytics, working with market leaders to unlock the value of information in decision-making and business strategy. His practice area specializes in helping public-sector organizations understand population trends, segmentation and performance benchmarking. Rupen appeared on CTV’s 2015 federal election coverage as a commentator on voter demographics in key riding races. Rupen holds a master’s degree in urban planning.
