How to make Knowledge Work in a Professional Service Industry
Bob Armacost is the Global Head of Knowledge for KPMG. Based in the Boston office, Bob directs KPMG’s Knowledge strategy, programs and tools across the KPMGs global network of member firms and professionals. He is responsible for enhancing and leading all aspects of KPMG’s Knowledge capabilities, with the mission of supporting the firm’s successful growth and helping its professionals to provide the highest quality client experiences at new levels of productivity. His role includes leadership over all aspects of content strategy, the KPMG intranet portal and other knowledge sharing tools, and the launch of processes and communications to help accelerate the creation, capture and sharing of knowledge.
Bob previously served as the first-ever global Director of Knowledge Management for Bain & Company, where he created and led their global knowledge capabilities. Bain has achieved numerous awards and distinctions for its knowledge programs, which have directly supported Bain’s rapid growth and success.
Bob is a frequent author and speaker on Knowledge Management. He is also a member of the Factiva CKO Summit, the Conference Board’s Council on Knowledge and Learning, as well as the Boston KM forum.
