Information Privacy … what you were afraid to ask!

Join us on Wednesday, March 21st for a lively and informative session focused on Information Privacy.

First, Scott Crosby of SYSANOVA will lead off with an introduction to information privacy and it’s growing significance in our wired world. Scott will cover the significant features of privacy laws in Canada, the US and internationally. In addition, Scott will speak about principles for personal information protection, privacy policies and codes, and corporate compliance strategies.

Our second speaker is Mike Gurski of the Ontario Privacy Commission. Mike will take us into the Wireless world and the particular challenge it presents from an information privacy standpoint. Mike will outline the goals for privacy in a wireless world and address some of the strategies for protecting personal information there. Using case studies as examples, Mike will tell us what can be done and what our wireless future holds in store!
