Master data in contained environments is a challenge on many levels. With the introduction of Saas based solutions comes the task of managing master data distributed beyond the traditional firewall.
In this discussion we will look at techniques for measuring and managing master data successfully in these environments. Also we will look at how integrating cloud based master data management solutions can help stream line the internal operations of an operating environment.
Mark Cowan has initiated the data management discussion within many organizations spanning the capital markets, defense, government, insurance, retail and manufacturing. Mark is a recognized expert in system design, integration and business enablement.
Mark has held leading roles in SAP – web enablement and product development, Adobe – global product development, Realm – head of technology and product development, RBC Dexia Investor Services as well is an active member in the private equity and investment sector. He has lectured within several MBA programs and has contributed to the definition of several patents for data management.
Today Mark is the principal of First Spike – an end to end data management provider with a focus on Saas based data integration, master data management, governance and business intelligence.
