Meta Data Standards
For the fourth meeting of the new Meta Data SIG, we will be discussing various aspects of “Standards”, specifically as they relate to Meta Data. The format will follow those used in previous Meta Data SIG meetings.
The proposed format of the meeting is as follows:
Part 1) Introduction

Part 2) Presentation from Standards Council of Canada
Speaker: Ray Gates, member of the Canadian Advisory Committee to Standards Council of Canada on ISO/IEC JTC1/SC32 Data Management & Interchange, and head of the Canadian delegation to, ISO/IEC JTC1/SC32/WG2 Metadata, the ISO/IEC working group responsible for metadata standards.
