David Carroll is TD Banks Head of Data Protection and Cloud Security. Prior to TD he was with the Microsoft’s Azure Global Cloud Engineering team. David’s role within that team was as head of security engineering for Financial Institution Transformation Engineering or (FITE). David focused on global cloud security requirements and engineering development for global financial, insurance, and highly regulated cloud environments.
David’s current data protection role at TD encompasses all aspects of data loss prevention, cloud access, data classification, treatment, governance, and shadow IT remediation.
When David is not with TD he serves as a US Navy Reserve Information Warfare officer. David is a decorated, fully qualified offensive and defensive cyber operations officer and has been supporting the US Fleet Cyber Command in securing their worldwide military cloud environments.
MJ Couldridge is the Director of Business Development for the Canadian Cyber Threat Exchange(CCTX). The CCTX is Canada’s private sector organization for the sharing, analysis and collaboration of cyber security data and information impacting Canada for all industry sectors and sizes of organizations. Prior to this, MJ enjoyed leadership positions in the cybersecurity start-up community in North America and at IBM as Director of Global Workplace Services.
